Flying to Cincinnati

Cincinnati has its own airport (Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport - code "CVG"), which is 25-45 minutes' drive from the Kollel. Delta and Comair have hubs here. But there are four other major airports within two hours' drive of the city, and they are often much cheaper to fly into:
  • Dayton, Ohio ("DAY") - 1 hour drive from the Kollel
  • Columbus, Ohio ("CMH") - 2 hour drive
  • Indianapolis, Indiana ("IND") - 2 hour drive
  • Louisville, Kentucky ("SDF") - 2 hour drive
Public transportation to the Kollel from Cincinnati's airport, albeit cheap, isn't much of an option. It is infrequent and very slow. Should you choose to drive yourself from the airport, directions can be found below.

Driving to the Kollel

The Cincinnati Community Kollel is located at 2241 Losantiville Avenue, in Golf Manor (a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio). Below are driving directions to the Kollel, using the closest major highways (I-71, I-75, and the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway) as starting points.

If you will be driving in from out of town, you will need to obtain more extensive directions. (Mapquest and Map24 are two of several free Internet direction and map services that you might want to try.) However, here is some information just to get you started:

Cincinnati is accessible by three interstate highways -
  • I-71 runs northeast to Columbus, Akron, and Cleveland, and southwest to Louisville, Kentucky.
  • I-74 begins in Cincinnati and extends northwest through Indiana and Illinois.
  • I-75 extends north to Dayton, Toledo, Detroit, and beyond, and south through Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
Below is a map of greater Cincinnati's highway system. Common approaches to our part of town have been highlighted. (If you are coming from the airport, both I-71 and I-75 are good options.) For directions from a highway to the Kollel, click on one of the three red marks. (If your browser doesn't support image maps, you can use the text-based direction finder at bottom left.)
Which highway are you on as you approach the Kollel?

If this image map doesn't work properly, just use the text-based direction to the left.
